HATS & HEADWEAR

The term "dressmaker hat" refers to hats that can be made using the same techniques as used in dressmaking: sewing by hand or machine.  It's a sub-category of millinery.  I am no milliner, because I don't know how to weave straw, block felt, or use most millinery tools.  I can, however, make hats using fabric and thread!
